He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Nellie Ruth Piper Brooks; and his brother James Michael Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Mohr Brooks; his sons, Jeremy Clinton Brooks (Kelli) of Social Circle and David Scott Brooks (Kattrena) of Woodstock; his sister Melinda Brooks Gragg (Tom) of Oxford; his sister-in-law Shirley Brooks of Conyers; and his grandsons, Bennett and Garrett. He is also survived by four nieces.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Conyers First United Methodist Church or a charity of one's choice.
