He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin McDonald and Maude McDonald; and his siblings, Bennie McDonald, Gail McDonald and Rebecca Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife Nell McDonald; his daughter Sandra; his son-in-law Edward Kuzava; his grandchildren, Eddie, Tracy Kuzava, Erik and Ashley Kuzava; and his great grandchildren, Boston Kuzava, Abby Kuzava and Charlotte Kuzava.
