She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Humphrey and Louise Spicer Humphrey; and her siblings, Ernest Humphrey, Jesse Humphrey, Roy Humphrey and Bessie Robinson.

She is survived by: her children, Lacey J. Powers of Atlanta, GA, Alexis F. Peterson of Atlanta, GA, Shirley P. Sharp of Wilmington and Angela P. Leake of Canton, GA; and her sister India Louise Gray of Jacksonville.
