He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Blanchard and Eloyt Blanchard; his son Donald James; and his siblings, Virges LeBlanc (Louis), LeeAnna Papet (Louis), Joe, OJ and Larry.
He is survived by: his significant other Selma Faulk; his children, Michele Meijer (Malcolm), Hubert III (Julie), John (Lori) and Anne McRae (Chad); and his sister Cathy Landry (David). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the UL Alumni: Atlanta Ragin' Cajun Club.
