He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Worthy and Clemmie Odessa Worthy; his wife Geraldine Mote Worthy; and his siblings, Branson Worthy, David Worthy, Lonnie Worthy, Reuden Lovell, Leona Johnson and Bobbie Maddox.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Worthy (Vicky) of Conyers, Randy Worthy (Kathie) of Conyers and Terry Worthy of Conyers; and his sister-in-law Katherine Mote of Conyers. He is also survived by many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
