It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harley Lee Pennington Jr. of Conyers, Georgia, born in Adel, Georgia, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Lee Pennington, Sr. and Mary Crafton Pennington; and his siblings, Joseph Edward Pennington and Rev. Doris Pennington Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Janet Zipperer Pennington; his son Joseph Lee; his daughter-in-law Dawn Pennington of Douglasville, Georgia; his sister Mary Ann; his brother-in-law Walk McMartin of Sun City, Arizona; and his sister Vivian Pennington of Hendersonville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
