With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Edward Townsend of Conyers, Georgia, born in Carrollton, Georgia, who passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Edward Townsend to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Townsend and Elsie Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Carol Anne Townsend of Conyers; his son Gary Edward Townsend, Jr. of Watonga, OK; his siblings-in-law, Jane and Wayne Scott; and his aunt Ann Townsend Collins of Austell. He is also survived by many cousins and special friends.

Due to the Covid Pandemic, a private funeral service will be held.

In Lieu of flowers please make contributions in Gary's memory to Rockdale Baptist Church, Conyers.
