He was predeceased by: his parents, B. F. Myers and Mary Myers; his siblings, Grady Myers, J. B. Myers, Peggy Steele, Mary Jo Collins and Dot Worthy; and his son-in-law Kendall Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughter Patti Thomas; his granddaughters, Jessica Lynn Ellis and Lisa Marie Downs; his great grandchildren, Sydney Ellis, Grayson Ellis and Deacon Downs; and his close friend Judy Clemence.
