She was predeceased by: her parents, Albrecht Hermann and Lucile Way Reu; and her husband William McPherson Johnston. She is survived by: her sons, William Christopher Johnston (Cindy), Samuel McPherson Johnston (Tonya) and Dr. Michael Reu Johnston (Beth Ellen); her brothers, Michael Reu (Nancy) and Norman Reu (Clara); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Laura, Beth, Michael, Whitney Caroline, Rachel and Adam; and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Lucy, Ella, Caroline, Henry and Samuel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
