He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Laverne (Horne); and his brothers, John Wilson, Faren Davis, Bobby Davis and Ollie Dee Boykin.
He is survived by: his wife Tessi Davis of Conyers; his sons, Austin (Beth Davis) and Justin Davis of Kansas City, MO; his grandsons, Cooper and Cody Davis of Colorado Springs, CO; his siblings, Max Boykin of Lucedale, MS, Randall Davis of Lucedale, MS and Betty Napp of Semmes, AL; and his close friend Donald Welchance of Lafayette, TN.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
