He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Garrett and Helen Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Garrett; his daughter Nikki; his son-in-law A. J. Christopher; his son Benjamin Garrett; his granddaughters, Anslee Christopher and Alaina Christopher; and his sisters, Carolyn Dailey, Betty Wilson, Judy Harris and Gala Patterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
