She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Autry Kennedy; her parents, Andrew Darby and Pearl Darby; and her brother Virgil Wayland Darby (Carole). She is survived by: her daughter Jane Kennedy Swindle (Russell); and her grandchildren, Alan Swindle (Megan), Andrew Swindle and Abby Swindle Bassett (Brandon). She is also survived by three nephews, & one niece.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery (101 Sixth St, Florala, AL 36442).
