He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Hicks Hayes; his parents, Virgil Hayes and Gussie Hayes; and his siblings, Betty Hayes Corley, Howard Hayes and Virgil Hayes.
He is survived by: his daughter Judy Hayes; his sister Barbara Hayes Conner; and his brother-in-law Olen Conner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
