He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joel Swann and Lillie Mae Swann; his siblings, Clara Mae Gaddis, Eunice Smith and Edward Brown Swann; his wife Faye Swann of Conyers; his children, Janet Thorne (Leonard) of Conyers and Chris Swann of Conyers; his brother Albert Swann of Conyers; his grandchildren, Leonard Thorne, III (Tara) of Carrollton, GA, Charley Thorne (Lisa) of Idaho Falls, James Thorne (Brittny) of Loganville, Sadie Swann of Bishop, GA and Joel Swann of Bishop, GA; and his great grandchildren, Owen Elliott, Lily, Emily, Wesley, Ellasyn, Lucas, Adeline, Noah and Elizabeth. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Conyers, GA.
