He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Upright; his wife Pamela "Pam" Upright; and his father Junior Upright. He is survived by: his daughter Christy Vassey; his son-in-law Andy Goddard of Conyers; his sons, CJ (Kristie Upright) and Robert Ray (Tera Adamson); his son-in-law Christopher Vassey of Conyers; his mother Doris Price; and his grandchildren, Christine, Kristen, Addison, Anthony, Amber, Trinity, Dakota, Pamela Rose, Peyton and William. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
