She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Steele and Johnnie Tobin (Mason); and her brother Johnny Ray Steele. She is survived by: her nieces, Amanda Steele and Julie Steele; her nephew John Steele (Terri); and her sister-in-law Peggy Steele of Macon, GA.

Memorials may be made to the Congregation Care Ministry at First Baptist Church of The Villages whose members provided countless hours of meals, transportation to treatment, prayers, counsel and loving kindness during her illness.
