She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer "Sonny" Saye; her parents, Raymond Lee Shepherd and Maggie Bailey Shepherd; and her sister Fannie "Lois" Shepherd. She is survived by: her cousins, Geneva Wood, Willie Shepherd, Ann Singleton (Pat) and Eddie Stewart (Ruby).
