She is survived by: her sons, Vincent Hammett (Karen), Frederick Hammett (Melanie) and Derrick Hammett; her grandchildren, Donel Hammett of Miami, FL, Javier Hammett of Conyers, GA, Chandler Hammett of Conyers, GA, Jade Burton of Conyers, GA, Jasmine Burton of Snellville, GA and Sydney Hammett of Conyers, GA.; and her siblings, Mary L. Smith of Atlanta, GA, Gwendolyn Smith-Lyles (Lawrence) of Snellville, GA, R. Karl Smith of Vero Beach, FL and Victor R. Smith of Lithonia, GA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral Home - Rockdale (1999 Hwy 138 SE, Conyers, GA 30013).
