She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Chester Smith and Paricia Teresa Mae Smith; her son LeAndren Wilson; and her grandson Kesean Leary. She is survived by: her children, Ellis McCollum, Serena Ruckert (John), Vanessa Laney Jr. (James) and Patricia Leary; her grandchildren, Malcolm, Mathew, LeAndren, Nakia, Alyssa, Letwan, Tatiana, Octavius, Jimmy, Julian, Crisbel, Kelsey, Khloe and Tristan; and her great grandchildren, Tyson and Brayden.
