She was predeceased by: her father Harvey Gibson Christian; and her siblings, Mercer Christian, Jack Christian and Alice Underwood. She is survived by: her husband Ron Simpson; her children, Kevin Simpson (Sheri), Ken Simpson (Helene), Keeli Blount (Mark) and Katy Zahradnik (Ray); her grandchildren, Kellan McWilliams (Nick), Greer Simpson, Shea Simpson, Max Simpson, Noah Simpson, Christian Nacke, Meredith Nacke, John Zahradnik and Alex Zahradnik; her great grandchildren, Luka McWilliams and Swayde McWilliams; her brother Melvin Christian (Libby); and her sister-in-law Laura Jean Christian.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Georgia Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center E #550, Atlanta, GA 30346, in Aileene's memory.
