She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward R. Blankenship and Nora L. Bales; her brother Ree Blankenship; and her grandchildren, Amanda Spencer, Bridgette Nichols and Stephen Bishop.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Brooks; and her daughters, Vicky Warrington (Gary), Renee Hornsby, Sheila Bishop and Tammy Brand. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
