He was predeceased by: his parents, Brooks Alexander Hays and Celestine Pearl O'Neal. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hoke; his sons, Jason Wayne Hoke of Conley, Stephen Brent Hoke of Stone Mountain and Thomas Eugene Hoke, Jr.; and his brother Milton Earl Hoke, Jr..
