She was predeceased by: her husband Benny Joe Forsyth; and her brother Robert Hugh Hitchcock, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Linda Middlebrooks, Sandra Humphries, Lee Wilson, Nancy Edwards (Kenneth), Edward "Tony" Middlebrooks (Nettie) and Stephen Turner (Cleo). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
