She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Brown Smith and Sara Marshall Smith of Virginia; her husband Johnny Charles Oglesby, Sr.; her son Johnny Charles Oglesby, Jr.; her grandsons, Patrick Childress and T. J. Fowler; her siblings, Wayne Marshall Smith and Cornelia Jane Wynn; and her former life partner Charles Edwin "Ed" Booker.
She is survived by : her children, Cheryl Smith, Cindy McCloud (Mark), Stacey Booker, Stanley Booker (Sonja) and Angie Fowler; her daughter-in-law Debbie Booker; her grandchildren, Chris Childress (Stephanie), Noah Smith, Marshall McCloud (Sarah Beth), Sam McCloud, Kayla Booker, Sarah Bates, Chase Gaddy, Gracie Booker, Jesse Booker and Emma Booker; her great grandchildren, Kara, Christian, Ty, Mason, Cody, Mary Allen, Cloey, Kaitlyn, Chrissy, Preston and Sadie; and her great great grandchild Hazel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
