It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elsie Walker of Concord, Georgia, born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Larkin Sanford and Lavada Christine Jones Sanford; her husband Robert Lee Jackson "Jack" Walker; and her children, Robert Walker and Wilma Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Lori Walker), John Walker, Cindy (Dennis Zabala) and Doug (Lesa Walker); and her grandchildren, Benton, Paige Belk, Beth, Chris Scarboro, Glenn, Katie Walker, Kellie, Jon Stewart, Julie, Mike Hughes, John Michael, Brooke Walker, Justin Walker, Monica, Adam Roberson, Michael, Taylor Zabala, Christina, George Gilliam, Matt and Chelsey Walker. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
