We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2023, at the age of 95, Loyd Thomas Sr. of Concord, Georgia, born in Norman Park, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bunyon Daily Thomas and Eula Blaylock Thomas; his sons, Leslie Thomas and Larry Thomas; and his siblings, J. B., Roy, Bill, Charles Thomas, Leila Fisher, Bessie Foster Houston, Dorothy "Dot" Riggs, Lula Hayes and Ruth Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Cherry Hardman Thomas; his children, Loyd Daily Thomas Jr. (Jessica), John Wayne Thomas (Brittany), Matthew Bradfield (Jessica), Lillie Bradfield (Todd Lower), Allen Thomas (Angie) and Charlene Majors; his grandchildren, Finley Ann Thomas, Harper Reese Thomas, River Bradfield, Forest Bradfield, Scott Thomas, Lee Thomas, Leah Hollis, Ellee Gonzales, Tiffany Coffman, Tabitha Lester, Tia Hunt and Tori Collier; and his siblings, Louie Thomas, Paul Thomas (Mariann), Sam Thomas (Annette), Wayne Thomas (Donna) and Eva Chandler. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
