She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest LaVier and Melvina Rowe LaVier; her sister Vaugn LaVier; and her great grandchild Toby Wauford. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Eric Boomer of Concord, GA; her children, Jeff Boomer (Staci) of Griffin, GA, Jill Swartz (Doug) of Acworth, GA, Jenny Gunter (Marty) of Aliquippa, PA and Josh Boomer of Saldotna, Alaska; her brother Denis LaVier (Terry) of Hominy, OK.; and her grandchildren, Courteney, Cory, Beth, Sadie, Caleb, Taylor, Savannah, Isaiah, Elijah, Jenna, Abby and Tallulla. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene (108 W Crawford St, Donalsonville, GA 39845). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
