He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Hayes (Randy) of Molena, Travis Morgan (Becky) of Douglas and Candace Baird (Josh) of Roanoke Rapids; his grandchildren, Kristin Bryant, Ryan Thacker, Joshua Hayes, Gracie Morgan, Josie Morgan and Sophie Morgan; his great grandchildren, Ishaan Bryant and Adalyn Thacker; and his sister Odessa Thomason of Roanoke Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
