He is survived by : his spouse Lutrelle Kitchens Booth; his children, Billy Joe Booth (Jackie), Donald Ray Booth (Elizabeth), Scotty Booth (Terrie), Jenny Dorsey, Susan Booth (Edward), Elizabeth Faye Wright (David), Tommy Booth, Mytie L. Booth and Annie Lou Booth; and his son-in-law David Dorsey. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Howington Cemetery.
