He was predeceased by: his parents, Elrige "Duck" Baxter and Hilda Adams Baxter. He is survived by: his children, Callaway Baxter (Christina) of Commerce and Carrie Cowart (Bradley) of Commerce; his sisters, Debbie Morris of Commerce and Kay Bridges of Commerce; and his grandchildren, Peyton, Carly Grace and Sammy Joe.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Erastus Christian Church (2050 Neese Commerce Rd, Commerce, GA 30530). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Erastus Christian Church Cemetery (2050 Neese Commerce Rd, Commerce, GA 30530). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at the same location.
