It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammy L. Childs (Commerce, Georgia), who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Childs and Mazelle Childs; his wife Martha Doss Childs; his son Robert L. Childs; and his brother W. Donald Childs.

He is survived by: his daughters, Martha L. Mejias of Commerce and Mary A. Spry of Commerce. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
