It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Lou Boggus of Commerce, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Willie Motes and Viola Brooks Boggus; her son Dwight Boggus; and her siblings, Jerry Motes, Jesse Motes, Robert Davis, Katherine Smith and Dorthy Sorell.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Hill (Terri), Richard Hill (Melinda), Timothy Williams (Julie), Michael Boggus (Maggie) and David Cain; her stepdaughter Martha Metcalf; her sister Cornelia Ann Bridges; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth and Mae Boggus. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a great number of nieces and nephews.
