He was predeceased by: his siblings, Catherine Neisler of Greenville, SC, Brenda Stephenson of Jefferson, GA and Darrell McClure of Commerce, GA.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Kim Russell (David) of Colbert, GA, Susan McClure of Atlanta, GA and Chris McClure (Laurie) of Watkinsville, GA; his sisters, Wilda Martin and Dorothy Leachman; and his grandchildren, Jonathan (Julie), Ben, Joseph, Caroline, Thomas and Ansley.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial donations be made to Colbert United Methodist Church Food Bank, PO Box 317, Colbert, GA, 30628.
