She was predeceased by: her father Luther Jordan; her husband J. D. Ayers; and her daughters, Debbie Vaughn and Joan Maginnis. She is survived by: her children, Steve Ayers (Carol) of Homer, Dale Ayers (Debbie) of Homer, Marty Ayers (Kelly) of Homer and Jenny North (Roger) of Watkinsville; her sister Joanne Jordan of Jacksonville, FL; and her sons-in-law, Ronnie Vaughn of Athens and Steve Maginnis of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted and donations be made to Bethany Christian Church, 312 Historic Homer Hwy, Homer, GA 30547.
