She was predeceased by: her parents, Guillermo Soto Bouza and Celia Rey Fernandez; her close friend Charlotte Travis; her husband Jose Adolfo Castro Gonzalez; and her brother Guillermo Soto Rey.
She is survived by: her son Dwayne Travis of New Jersey; her caregiver Robin Smith of Canon; her niece Taryn Smith of Canon; and her great-nephews, Adam Kennedy and Frankie Pribyl.
