He was predeceased by: his parents, Cruz Huizar and Nicolasa Cortes; and his son Conrado Huizar. He is survived by: his children, Gustavo Huizar, Armando Huizar, Santos Huizar, Manuel Huizar and Elva Sandoval. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
