With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maggie Barrett Hardy of Commerce, Georgia, born in Shiloh, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Barrett and Ida Brown Barrett; her daughter Pamela Baker; and her siblings, Dot Seymour, Guynelle Adams and Roger Barrett.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy Hardy of Commerce; her sons, Donny Booth (Charlotte) of Danielsville and Mike Booth (Diane); and her sisters, Joyce Scoggins of Gainesville and Pat Purcell of Commerce. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (40 Old Kings Bridge Rd, Nicholson, GA 30565). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Hope Baptist Church.
