She is survived by: her children, James C. McLeroy, Jr., Susan McLeroy and Jessica Smith; and her siblings, Will D. Herring, Jr., Peggy Strickland and Paulette Herring. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
