She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Benton and Gladys Morrison Benton; her husband Gerald Wayne McDuffie; her son Richard Gerald McDuffie; her brother Randy Benton; and her grandmother McDuffie Woods (Louis).
She is survived by: her son Sam; her daughter-in-law Janet McDuffie of Homer; her grandchildren, Julia Anne (Austin Smith) and Ashley (Kegan Acton); her great grandchildren, Maverick, Theodore and Lily; and her sisters, Jan Thomas and Brenda Fowler.
