He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hilda Anglin and Charles Mathis. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Mathis of Commerce; his sons, Greg Mathis (Traci) of Jefferson and Rodney Mathis (Tiffany) of Commerce; his sister Elizabeth Duncan of Commerce; and his granddaughter Sydney Mathis of Commerce.
