He was predeceased by: his mother Donnie Harbin; his half-brother Rayford Walker; and his granddaughter Savannah Harbin. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jean Wester Harbin of Commerce; his son James Calvin "Jay" Harbin Jr. (Gina) of Lyons, GA; his stepsons, Russ Ellis (Karen) of Lithia Springs and Richard Ellis (Lisa) of Clarkesville; his grandchildren, James C. Harbin III, Jamey Harbin, Kayla Ellis, Brianna Ellis, Matthew Ellis, Cal Ellis, Cody Ellis and Joy Ellis; his stepgrandson Alex Page; and his sister Teresa Blankenship (Sammy) of Savannah.
