He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Moon Shelnutt; his children, David Shelnutt (Melissa), Danny Shelnutt (Vickie) and Angie Kellerson (Henry); and his sisters, Rita Cowart and Dorothy Ragsdale.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Danielsville Memorial Gardens (Sunset Cir, Danielsville, GA 30633).
