With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hershelene Rebecca Vickery of Commerce, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Seagraves and Dessie Mae Williams Seagraves; and her husband James Harold Vickery. She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Standridge of Commerce, Carol Yvonne McNabb of Commerce and Rhonda Denise Vickery of Commerce; and her sisters, Valerie Tyner of Charleston, SC, Betty Smith of Royston and Trudy Evans of Athens. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
