He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Martin and Ester Ruth Deaton Martin; his son Greg Martin; and his siblings, Frank, Jessie, Myrtle, Frances, Betty Lou, Mary and Louise.

He is survived by: his daughter Dana Martin Nichols (Steve) of Nicholson; his sisters, Nina Watkins of Nicholson and Nora Brock of Nicholson; and his grandchildren, Heather Dalton (Aaron), Whitney Wilson (Brian), Cole Martin (Rebecca) and Camryn Martin. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
