She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Emma Miller Akins and James Inman Akins, Sr.; and her parents-in-law, John J. Harrison, Sr. and Margaret Wood Harrison. She is survived by: her husband John J. Harrison, Jr.; her daughters, Mary Margaret Harrison and Katherine Jean Harrison; her siblings, James Inman Akins, Jr., Mary Beth McPeters, Faye Johnson, Kay Cash and Ginger Holland; and her sister-in-law Ann Harrison Thornton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in remembrance of Glenda to the American Cancer Society.
