We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2023, at the age of 87, George Benedick Peneguy Jr. of Commerce, Georgia, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Peneguy, Sr. and Carmelite Durapau Peneguy; and his brother Wayne. He is survived by: his former wife Miriam; his children, Mike (Susan), Kevin (Dana), Todd (Kathleen) and Eva (Bill); and his brother Lenny (Kathy).
His contributions to the aerospace industry were invaluable. In memory of George, contributions can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which supports research and awareness for Parkinson's disease, an illness that George bravely fought during his final years.
