With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Smallwood of Commerce, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on November 29, 2021 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse William Smallwood and Edna Lee Butler Smallwood; and his brother Howard Smallwood. He is survived by: his girlfriend Brittany Wade; his sons, Brian Cole and Tevin Scott; and his siblings, Sandy Smallwood, Martha Meek, Lynn Bryant and Johnny Smallwood. He is also survived by seven nieces, four nephews and fifteen great nieces and nephews.
