She was predeceased by: her parents, Wildern Chestnut and Addie Cowan Chestnut; and her husband Robert McGuirt. She is survived by: her son William Caro; her sisters, Marie Taunton, Voncille Decote, Genieve Gross and Lela Mae Scott; her children, Wincielee Caro, Darlene Salinas (Jay), Lisa Maze, Cheryl Chestnut, Carla Caro, Delores Leonard and Mary Elizabeth Rutherford; and her siblings, James Chestnut and Dorothy Belden. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
