She was predeceased by: her parents, Ouida Arlue Murray and Effie Lela Hart; her husband Curtis J. Cowart; and her siblings, Florine Alexander, Allene Murray, Inez Parr, Shirley Moore, Reba Ritcheson, Gladys Hawkes, Bettie Sue Hart, Willie Barbara Evans, John T. Murray, Sam Murray, Clifford Murray, Robert Murray and James Murray (Peewee).
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Cowart (Thierry) and Alan Cowart; her grandchildren, Johnnie Morgan (Tyger), Sean Saenz (Kathryn), Tamara Frazier (Dylan) and Zachary Cowart; and her great grandchildren, Hayley Morgan, Kelsey Morgan and Christian Murray Frazier.
