She was predeceased by: her parents, William Halcott and Jane Colthart Halcott; her husband John Dickson; and her sons, Matthew and Johnathan Dickson.

She is survived by: her close friend David Emans; her children, Teri King, Tina Godbey, Christopher Joyce and Paul Dickson; and her siblings, William Halcott Jr., Dana Halcott and Karen Martin. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
